Decent place for grab and go- fish and chips!
If you dine outside it is easily 13 so pounds. This was around 10 pounds for take out.
Note- You can also dine in, but there appears to be a price difference between dining in and "take-away" as the British say it.
Fish and chips were sold separately. At the time we went, we saw some fish left over under the heating lamp and we were turned off at the beginning because we thought we would be getting some leftover items, but the boss quickly had our orders fried instead of serving older fish.
This appears to be a local favorite as we saw one guy who came by and the boss instantly knew his usual order.
Note- ketchup / tartar sauce does cost extra.
They have salt / vinegar / seasoning for the fries at no extra charge. -

I don't remember how I found this place, but I know I went looking for it the first time I visited 3 years ago. Pretty sure it was on some travel show or food show. Clearly it made an impression because I headed back 3 yeas later. Couldn't even remember what it was called, but with my cousin in tow, who was visiting London for the first time, we went looking for it. Unfortunately the one day we went, it was closed for the bank holiday, so we made it back another day to enjoy the food. It's definitely a hole in the wall. No AC, so on this crazy hot day in London, it was pretty stifling inside. They had fans going to at least help a bit. Also - no ice so we couldn't even get ice with our drinks. The soda was cold luckily, but considering how hot it was, it wasn't cold for long.
I think I got cod. I honestly can't remember. But the fish was fried to perfection. The chips, pretty on par with other chips in London. Personally not a fav but I think that's just my American preferences.
It's not too far from Westminster but it's not near the touristy stuff. It's like in the opposite direction. -

You know when they say don't eat chicken at a fish n chips spot? Well this one is yes and no. First of, the fish n chips are so legit. You gotta get it! Second, the wings were so tasty and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the fried chicken looks so good but tastes so...
It was dry and flavorless which was disappointing. But hey, it's a fish n chips spot so get some, get more. It was fantastic. -

I came in here after seeing the good reviews. I wanted to try fish & chips just for the hell of it since I'm visiting from the United States.
Food was average, came out hot. It also tasted very healthy! It didn't take long to come other either, maximum 10 minutes of waiting. Everyone's food came out at the same time.
Service was nice, nothing extraordinary, but thankfully normal.
Now the reason why I decided to go with 4/5 is because the cups were dirty, each & every single one. They looked dusty and I didn't want to pour anything in there. I think they just needed to be rinsed out. -

Very friendly staff and delicious fish and chips. We came here off a friend's recommendation and it was pretty tasty! We ordered the halibut and chips and,I will say, that they were quite pricey. I wasn't expecting a bit of fish and a few fries to cost £18-I'm no expert in the halibut market, but that seems a bit insane.
Anyways, cute family establishment with plenty of tables. I would definitely come back to try an alternative item!
